Hi, I’m Alex

I’ve been an electrician for 5 years now, I have a level 3 NVQ diploma in installing electrotechnical systems and equipment as well as holding the level 3 award in initial and periodic inspection testing.

I started my apprenticeship on a 50 MW battery storage facility in Oxford and have covered a wide variety of electrical work. From smoke ventilation systems in Central London to building solar farms in the middle of Cambridge. Over my years of working I have found a keen interest in the more commercial/industrial side of the trade. The bigger and more difficult cables are to work with, the more exciting!

When I’m not working, I like to spend my time training in martial arts but primarily Brazilian ju-jitsu. I’m a keen gym goer, but also a sucker for the sweeter things in life (chocolate!).
